Two young lovers hike up a mountain, equipped with opposing agendas: While she has dreams of leaving for college, he plans a proposal geared at making her stay.

Amidst their last days of high school a happy couple takes a hike up the local mountain of their alpine village for some alone time. But soon their relationship is put to the test when they discover their conflicting views on "Heimat": The girl feels an urge to venture out into the world before deciding which place to call home, the boy insists that finding home means putting down roots where they grew up.

As a reinterpretation of the postwar Heimatfilm genre, this Arthouse project hopes to inspire discussions over the better compass in young age: The heart or the mind.

Dialogue in German.
