Edna Luise Biesold is a German born and New York based filmmaker.

In 2015 she graduated with an MFA from NYUs Tisch School of the Arts as a recipient of the Dean's fellowship.

Her first feature film, VIRAL BEAUTY, is a collaboration with Producer/Actress Casey Killoran and Director David T. Lam, both graduates from the Acting program at NYU. The film premiered in early 2017 and is currently playing at festivals. 

She co-directed THE COLOR OF TIME, a feature film about Pulitzer Prize winner C.K. Williams, starring James Franco, Jessica Chastain, Mila Kunis and Henry Hopper. The film premiered at the Rome International Film Festival and was released in 2014.
